The famous thrill-seeking magician David Blaine is enlisting some help for his next magic trick: selling his New York City Greenwich Village co-op. Blaine has already listed his 1,044 square foot home at 41 Fifth Avenue for $2.27 million, the Observer reports.
Although many people would expect to see various tricks and hidden passageways in the magician's home, the two-bedroom, one-bathroom co-op actually boasts of everything normal - it even looks cozy!
Currently represented by Raphael De Niro, Maggie Leigh Marshall and Evangelos Karras of Douglas Elliman, the 16E unit is located at the top-floor of 41 Fifth Avenue. The home also has several features most houses don't have; the New York Post reports:
"This top-floor corner spread features a roomy, white-walled living room with black onyx flooring and a wood-burning fireplace with wooden mantel. The kitchen has wooden cabinetry, granite counters and a new glass-front Sub-Zero fridge. There's on bathroom, and it comes with a deep soaking tub and separate standing shower."
As it turns out, the home also boasts of "south, east, and north exposures" of the city, as well as a washer/dryer just off of the kitchen, which can easily be converted back into a half bath.
The classic Rosario Candela building is a full-serviced building in between Fifth Avenue and 11th Street. Services include a 24-hour staffed elevator, daily doorman service, private storage, bike storage, laundry, and a landscaped roofed terrace. The building is also near Washington Square Park.
Blaine purchased to home back in 1998, when he was still dating Josie Maran of Josie Maran Cosmetics. Several years later, in 2005, Blaine purchased a $1.67 million 3,453-square-foot condo at 354 Broadway in New York City's Tribeca neighborhood.
David Blaine net worth is $12 million.
