Nicole Richie is one of the most down to earth celebrities that welcome almost everybody into her home. Richie gave Domaine Home a sneak peek on what her Laurel Canyon, California home looked like as it was featured on their website.
She shares her home with her husband, Good Charlotte singer, Joel Madden, and their daughter Harlow, and son Sparrow.
Her backyard has a stunning view with a relaxed, electric, summer vibe to it. Her backdrop is filled with energizing colors such as yellow, turquoise, and a touch of black.
She gave out details in regards to her color palette choices wherein she told Domiane Home that, "It was important to me to keep the color palette strong but not too overpowering. We're all about having everything be really eclectic and relaxed.My house has that summery look and feel all year round...luckily for me I live in LA and can get away with it."
She also shared some insights regarding her home and how she welcomes her guest, telling the interviewer that, "I'm against assigned seating. I like people to come to my house and feel like they can do whatever they want. Our house is the one people come to, to hang."
Her backyard is a mix of outdoor elements with modern touches. She used stones and metal chairs, as it created a beautiful landscape once merged.
Her artsy patio is fully lit with beautiful lamp and strung globe lights, which created a dreamy ambiance. Her mini garden is filled with different variety of succulents designed by Inner Gardens Stephen Block. Though the garden already looked beautiful enough, the finishing touches detail's made everything more personalized and lovely.
Her hand painted canvas tepee also gave a beautiful touch as it was embellished with "California inspired" murals by Calmdiggin, where in Richie is quite impressed with.
