Celebrity Homes: Comedian Louis C.K. Lands Another West Village Co-Op

One of the celebrity homes featured this week belongs to comedian Louis C.K. The actor popular for his role as Louie in the "FX" series snagged another co-op in the West Village for $564,900.

The property located at 345 West 4th Street was reportedly on the market for almost a year. According to NY Curbed, it was the comedian, whose real name is Louis Székely, and his ex-wife, Alix Bailey's third's investment in the building. They started purchasing two other studio units in 2006. The former duo paid $250,000 for the first unit and $475,000 for the second one, which they bought in 2013.

Alejandro Beitler of Compass is the listing agent of the property. The Real Deal reports that the home features a stylish fireplace, high ceilings, two-walk-in closets and a windowed eat-in kitchen. The property that was classified as the most expensive home sold also has all-in-one convection oven and microwave oven.

C.K. and Bailey tied the knot in 1995. They divorced in 2008. The ex-couple shares custody of their two kids, Kitty and Mary Louise. The actor admitted that he is happier with his relationship with his ex-wife, TODAY says. "I love being divorced," he said. "Every year has been better than the last ... . Marriage is just like the larvae stage for true happiness, which is divorce."

Louis C.K. has a net worth of $25 million, as cited by Celebrity Net Worth. He skyrocketed into stardom after starring in the comedy series "Louie" which he also edited, directed and written. Louis C.K. landed various writing assignments in different shows including "Late Night with Conan O'Brien," "The Late Show with David Letterman," "The Chris Rock Show" and The Dana Carvey Show." Being in love with real estate, Louis C.K. also has a multi-million-dollar mansion in the Hamptons.
