Rumors are circulating online that after months of speculations, Kim Kardashian is finally filing for divorce from Kanye West and is gearing up for a custody battle over their daughter North West, Hollywood Life reported.
The news was unveiled by In Touch Magazine, where a source allegedly claimed that Kim was "mortified" after her husband was a no-show at her family's Thanksgiving celebration, according to Hollywood Life. That was the "final straw" that got the divorce papers ready.
Kim spent Thanksgiving with her family and daughter North West at her sister Khloe's house, while Kanye was spotted in Paris hanging out with friends the night before, according to Page Six.
The source told In Touch that Kim went straight to an attorney in Los Angeles to talk about the divorce after Thanksgiving. She claims that her husband did not care about her feeling upset over his non-appearance and said he was "too controlling."
The source added that Kim's reality show, "Keeping Up With The Kardashians," also became an issue for them as Kanye did not want his wife to do another season of the series.
However, an insider refuted the claims, saying the rapper was just busy with his end of the year projects, according to Hollywood Life. Kanye is also reportedly coming home soon and that "everything is fine."
Even Kim's sister Khloe is reportedly looking forward to seeing her brother-in-law reunited with his family, as she worried over Kanye missing North West's big moments.
"Khloe thinks these are Nori's most precious days," the insider shared, saying Kim's sister did not like how she handles her daughter's formative years. Her daughter is learning to talk, walk and run and she feels like both parents should be present for those moments.
A rep for Kim also spoke exclusively to Gossip Cop to deny these allegations, saying they were "absolutely false" and that the couple is definitely not having a divorce.
