Ben Affleck shared his and his wife Jennifer Garner's secret to successful Christmas shopping, and that is to shop early and beat out the hordes of holiday shoppers, InStyle reported.
The "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice" actor said he and his wife do their shopping before Thanksgiving despite numerous Black Friday deals after the holiday. For him, the savings are not all that different and shoppers could look into pre-Thanksgiving sales.
"Jen and I just did a bunch of our holiday shopping. We had a nice time," Affleck said, sharing that they stopped by FAO Schwarz and were able to shop with no hassle.
He also shared a time-saving trick and an easy way to get presents for people: skipping out on the individual gift giving and finding gifts that work for multiple people.
It seems like the couple will be spending the holidays happily, despite divorce rumors that have been hounding them for months.
Rumors erupted in October when a source talked to Star magazine claiming that the couple's happy front is just a cover and that they have just about reached their breaking point, according to the Inquisitr.
According to the source, Garner has problems with Affleck's love of gambling. She is also unhappy over the pressure of having to look happily married with all the publicity surrounding Affleck's movie projects.
"Jen is unhappy and she doesn't trust Ben," the source from Star claimed, mentioning that a $150 million divorce was coming soon.
Another point of contention for the couple are some of the women surrounding Affleck.
Sources from Star magazine said Affleck was linked to his "Gone Girl" co-star Emily Ratajkowski, according to Gossip Cop. The magazine claimed that Garner was allegedly "in tears" after finding out Affleck picked the model to join him for his movie.
Garner also had to deal with Affleck's former girl, singer Jennifer Lopez. A source told IBN Live that Garner was furious at Lopez for continuously mentioning their previous relationship.
The source said Garner is "livid" over how Lopez kept calling Affleck her "first true love." She considered it "disrespectful," especially as Affleck and Garner have already been married for nine years with three children.
However, a source close to the couple and their situation claim that none of the rumors about Affleck and his women were true, especially the ones made by Star, according to Gossip Cop.
The rep said that it is all "100 percent false" and said the couple was "very, very happy."
Garner also talked about her marriage during an interview with InStyle for their October issue, according to E! News. She claims that they were making an effort to be together despite the busy schedules and that Affleck is always there for their children.
