Super Bowl 2016: Most Expensive Hotels to Stay in San Francisco During the Event

Super Bowl 2016 is just a few days away, and people are now looking for places to stay in San Francisco during the games.

San Francisco Curbed reports that the most expensive hotel this year is the Fairmont hotel which is now asking for $1 million for four nights.

ABC News reports that the 6,000-square-foot suite has a total of three bedrooms and four bathrooms, and it also features other amenities like a library, billiards room, a parlor and a balcony. It was reported that on normal days, the place can be rented out for $18,000 a night, but because of the weekend happenings, the place will include 22 Super Bowl Tickets in a gold suite at Levi's stadium.

Aside from that, the renter will also get a luxury ride to the game with a private chef and bartender on board. Aside from the Super Bowl ticket, tickets to VIP parties are also being offered which includes a $150,000 donation to charity. The suite is popular among celebrity renters like JFK, Mick Jagger and Mikhail Gorbachev.

Meanwhile, San Francisco Gate also listed luxury hotels for the weekend, and these include rooms at the Hyatt Regency in the Financial District which cost $1,364 a night. Rooms at the luxury Palace Hotel, meanwhile, costs $880 a night. Other hotels like Westin have now priced their rooms for $826 a night. On the other hand, Hotel Nikko is offering a three-night stay for $9,000 which includes a single ticket to the upper deck of Levi's Stadium.

There are also expensive home rentals which include the three-bedroom Russian Hill Home which costs $12,486. In San Jose which is close to the stadium, a one-bedroom place can be rented from Feb. 1 to Feb. 8 for $7,400.
