Cesar Millan Dead? Death Slammed as Hoax by Dog Whisperer's Pooch

Despite rumors circulating around the web that Cesar Millan is dead, the famous "Dog Whisperer" is alive and was only hospitalized yesterday, the Inquisitor reported.

Millan is the latest victim of an online hoax claiming that he died of a heart attack after he was brought to the hospital.

The reports of his death reportedly began after his alleged hospitalization on Tuesday, according to the International Business Times.

The hoax started from a report released by a fake "Spanish news agency," UNAM Noticias, stating that Millan suffered from a fatal heart attack on Wednesday in California's Santa Clarita hospital.

According to an excerpt from the hoax obituary, "Millan was hospitalized yesterday afternoon, the medical reports indicate that he suffered a fulminate heart attack, which paralyze his heart unavailable for the blood to reach his brain, and other vital organs, situation which cause the death of this humanitarian man, who years before open his foundation 'Cesar Millan Foundation', where Jada Pinkett Smith, wife of Will Smith, is Vice-president."

Fans were understandably heartbroken about the news, Kpopstarz reported, adding that the news piece of his untimely demise was shared more than 19,000 times.

UNAM further reported that Millan's wife, Jahira Dar, held a press conference confirming the news of her husband's passing.

"I hope you can understand my loss, and I would appreciate if you can give us our space for our mourning," Dar allegedly told the press.

The hoax continued on to say that the Milan's memory will be honored by the family, and that the entire community will remember him for his "incredible rehabilitation and training techniques with dogs," which everyone has seen through his show "The Dog Whisperer."

However, Millan appears to still be alive, as proven by a Facebook update from his pooch named Junior.

"Reports of my Pack Leader's untimely demise are greatly exaggerated. I can happily report he is safe, happy, and healthy. I can also tell you he kept me up all night snoring, my breakfast was a little late but I did get a great morning walk. As Cesar keeps telling me: Exercise. Discipline. Affection. - the key to a long, balanced, and healthy life!," the Facebook post read.

In addition, Kpopstarz said that another news agency, Distrita News, which shared the news of Millan's death released a statement stating that "it's not proud of spreading such news."
