Dallas Stars defenseman and alternate captain Alex Goligoski is selling his Texas home for $2 million. According to Realtor, the property was once voted as one of D Magazine's Most Beautiful Homes. Goligoski made several renovations on the Highland Park Colonial property which was originally built in the 1930s.

Goligoski currently plays for the Dallas Stars and is also the current alternate captain for the team. On June 15, 2009, he signed a $5.5 million three-year contract with the Penguins, and on the same year, he also won the Stanley Cup. In February 2011, he was traded to the Dallas Stars for James Neal. On Jan. 23, 2012, he signed a four-year, $18.4 million contract extension with Dallas.
