Best-selling authors - who are married to each other, by the way - Bruce Feiler and Linda Rottenberg have just purchased a $6.4 million townhouse in New York's Brooklyn Heights.
Located on 267 Henry Street, the property, which was built in the mid 1800s, measures approximately 25 feet wide. There is a parlor floor which features "oversized windows, high ceilings and crown moldings," as per the New York Post.
The 5,100 square foot estate also has a garden-level floor, the aforementioned parlor floor, and three additional floors including a balcony, terrace and garden.
Although the home has been recently renovated, it still keeps little touches and details that retain the home's original traditional design. According to the last available listing:
"The eye catching sgraffito frieze tapestry in addition to detailed crown molding are extraordinary and unique to the time period in which it was built which perfectly compliment the detailed wood flooring. There are multiple decorative fireplaces throughout, most with original mantles."
Bruce Feiler, who is commonly perceived as a real life Indiana Jones, followed Moses' 10,000-mile journey in his book, "Walking the Bible," which also became a miniseries on PBS.
For his 2005 book, "Where God Was Born," Feiler traveled to Israel, Iraq and Iran. He is also the author of "The Secrets of Happy Families: Improve Your Mornings, Rethink Family Dinners, Fight Smarter, Go Out and Play and Much More."
On the other hand, Linda Rottenberg was the co-founder and current CEO of Endeavor, a nonprofit organization aiming to help high-impact entrepreneurs. She became one of the best-selling authors with her 2014 book, "Crazy Is a Compliment: The Power of Zigging When Everyone Else Zags."
