‘Frozen 2’ Movie Cast & Rumors: Idina Menzel Sells Los Angeles Home

Idina Menzel and her ex-husband Taye Diggs decided to sell their home in Los Angeles following their divorce, but Menzel has something more to look forward to in her career with a possible sequel to "Frozen," AOL reported.

Menzel and Diggs said last year that they were planning to divorce and have decided to let go of their $2.09 million home in Studio City. The couple bought it in 2010. The 5,000-square-foot home has six bedrooms, five bathrooms, a two-story foyer and vaulted ceilings. The initial selling price was $2.995 million but the ex-couple managed to sell it for $2.55 million.

While her romantic life has sadly hit a bump, her career has been soaring since she became the voice of Elsa in the 2013 animated film "Frozen." During an interview with Telegraph, the "Let It Go" singer mentioned the possibility of a "Frozen 2" film in the works.

During the interview, Menzel confirmed that there were upcoming projects in the works with Disney following the success of the first film, such as a stage musical and a sequel film. While she said she had no plans on being involved with the stage musical, she said she hoped to come back as the voice of Elsa or participate in any way in the sequel.

For now though, she simply said, "We'll see. I'm just going along for the ride."

Since then, however, Menzel backtracked on her words, as she told Today during an interview that she actually had no idea.

"I just assume because it's so successful that that's what they're up to," she said.

While Menzel is taking it back, actress Georgina Haig has yet to change her own comment. Haig plays Elsa in the television series "Once Upon A Time" and also told IGN during an interview that a sequel was being planned by Disney.

Despite that, Disney does have a "Frozen" related work coming up with "Frozen Fever," a six-minute short film that will be released in 2015, according to BBC News.

The short will be accompanying another Disney film, "Cinderella," and tell the story of how Elsa's icy powers will affect her sister Anna's birthday celebration.

Menzel, Kristen Bell, Jonathan Groff and Josh Gad returned to voice their characters Elsa, Anna, Kristoff and Olaf, respectively. It will also feature a new song sung by Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez.

"Frozen" won the Oscar for Best Original Song for "Let It Go" and the Oscar for Best Animated Feature. It also grossed a total of $1.27 billion worldwide, making it the fifth highest grossing film of all time, according to BBC News.
