Take a Tour of the House in Nicholas Sparks' Latest Movie

Famed author Nicholas Sparks has teamed up with producers for the upcoming release of his latest film adaptation "The Choice."

According to House Beautiful, Sparks' books have inspired some of the nicest homes across the country. As such, it is only but proper to take a tour of the house that will be featured in his upcoming movie.

"The Choice" follows the life of Gabby Holland, a medical student who moves in next door to famed ladies' man Travis Shaw. Despite their obvious differences, Gabby and Travis will develop a close bond with each other. However, their once happy relationship will eventually lead them to a difficult choice.

Meanwhile, the house of the married couple is a waterfront bungalow, and it's everything you can ever dream of. The publication revealed that the bungalow can be found in North Carolina, the setting of almost all of Sparks' novels.

"When I first moved to North Carolina in 1992, I was immediately struck by how varied and vast the landscape was. North Carolina is a rare state that has gentle mountains, expansive farm land, slow-moving rivers, and an incredible coast line - I knew when I started writing 'The Notebook' that North Carolina (where I lived) would be the setting," Sparks said.

"Since then, every book has been set in North Carolina. Setting is a major aspect of my work, both in terms of natural and cultural environments and atmosphere. I love the community, the pace of life, and languid summers and the beautiful small towns that offer memorable backdrops of my stories," he added.

As such, Sparks teamed up with his production designer Mark Garner, and the latter helped him find a nice property where they can film Gabby and Travis' scenes.

"The Choice" is slated to hit theaters in the United States on Feb. 5.
