Monique Lhuillier, a well known bridal collection designer and is a notable designer to celebrities, has let the public get the chance to take a glimpse of her most precious creations as she opened her reconstructed wardrobe. It is not surprising how beautiful it is, as she herself calls it her jewelry box, where her fashion collections are placed inside.
"I moved into my house 10 years ago, and my closet was the only room in the house that I hadn't changed or decorated," Lhuillier confessed to InStyle. Long before, the designer wanted to have a very organized and spacious closet where she can preserve all her collections.
Lhuillier's renovated closet shows off her favorite earth colors. She likes to have the textiles and lighting in gray as it gives her a calm, soothing and clean aura. Her imaginations turned into a dream come true through the creative hands of an interior designer, Lisa Adams who helped her in transforming Lhuillier's 260-square-feet walk-in closet into a stylish wardrobe detailed with soft nap carpets.
Her sophisticated sense of fashion added its elegance of her closet. Lhuillier's closet has a custom made chandelier, which has a smoky monochromatic crystals that gives a water dripping effect. Added to it are LED lights in the hanging rods. The lights has made telling the difference between blacks and dark blues easier.
According to interior designer Adams, the LED light can be hardwired or battery operated. Whichever way, this tool can sure give a personal closet a boutique feel. And to have a dramatic wardrobe, two couches that are customized and personally designed by Azadech Shladovsky.
Lhuillier finds extreme happiness in her closet, not only because her creations are inside it but because she considers her closet as her comfort zone. She added that for twenty years now, she is happily married because the two do not share closet together.
