Thinking fast forward, singer/ songwriter Marc Anthony and new wife Shannon de Lima Muñiz just moved into their new Dominican home right after the wedding.
If you're thinking that the home was finished because it was a low-key, one-storey styled abode, check it out again, the home is no easy job for a renovation. The Latin Grammy artist's home is a haven for vacation lovers, it simply mimics a tropical getaway.
The 47-year-old singer has many inspirations for the property and one of which happens to be going on tours and resting on different hotels. Apart from this, he also did some of his visions on paper for the property and always figured that it would be "big."
"The second we moved in I started drawing my ideas on napkins and buying up the adjacent lots. I just had a vision for it," the Latin artist said from the Fox News Latino. "I've been touring for 20-something years. And when you're locked in a hotel room, you learn to enjoy spaces."
The palatial property has a 10,000 sq. ft. main house that includes two swimming pools and a man-made beach. This is a total vacation home that could allow guests to rest in. Apart from the multiple amenities included in the home, it also covers 24 beds just like a true beach hotel/resort.
This house was a surprise in disguise, who would have thought it would be finished on his wedding day with wife Shannon de Lima Muñiz.
"Our housewarming party was literally our wedding week," the 47-year-old "El Cantate" singer said. "Everybody flew in from around the world. We were seeing the house and living in it for the first time just as our guests were. We all explored it together!"
Another inspiration that Anthony had with his property was mainly his five kids, he wants his kids to totally enjoy the new home and enjoy a cozy feel.
"I can sit in one spot for hours and simply watch my wife and kids in the pool or listen to the music playing on the sound system," Anthony said from the outlet.
Marc Anthony has an estimated net worth of $21 Million.
