Billionaire Ken Griffin, the founder and chief executive of hedge fund Citadel from Chicago, is currently trying to sell two of the condos that he recently purchased at Miami Beach's Faena House for a combined price of $73 million. Griffin bought these units for $60 million last fall, Celebrity Net Worth reported.

The billionaire is listing two of his adjacent condos in Miami in separate sales. The first unit is an 8,270 square foot penthouse that covers the entire top floor of a building. It features five bedrooms, a 7,300 square foot wraparound terrace, and a 2,700 square foot roof deck with its own pool. It is listed for $55 million.

The second unit is located directly below the penthouse and occupies half of the 15th floor. It features three bedrooms with a floor area of 4,240 square foot wherein 2,720 square foot of it is the terrace.

Aside from these condos that Griffin is selling, he also owns many other highest priced condos in Chicago. Last fall, he purchased a $200 million three full floors condo at 220 Central Park South in Manhattan. The construction of said building is epected to be completed at late 2016 or early 2017.

Prior to the completion of the units that Griffin currently listed, he went under contract on these units in 2014. The layout was customized by the developers for him but he is never lived in them. Griffin did not indicate why he decided to sell the units.

The hedge fund billionaire also owns other properties in Florida, which includes four properties in Palm Beach which he bought for $130 million back in 2012. Apart from Manhattan, Florida and Chicago, he also has properties in Aspen and Hawaii. Griffin's total net worth is $6.5 billion.

As previously reported, Griffin just recently sold the 46th floor unit of his full-floor condo located in Waldorf Astoria for $16 million which he bought in 2014.

The 47-years-old Citadel founder also just settled his high profile divorce from his wife of 12 years, Anne Dias, paying her with $11.75 million which is her ex-wife's share of his earnings of the top-floor penthouse unit on the 67th floor of the Park Tower building on North Michigan Avenue, CNN Money reported.
