In Feng Shui, using the color yellow for your home enhances "warmth and happiness." The jovial color instantly bursts delight in a dark colored room. Although yellow is not a popular choice for painting the walls of a home, there are ways that this color can be worked out.

Yellow varies where it will work best. Check first if your bathroom receives ample lighting, the intensity or amount of lighting it receives coordinates what tint of yellow paint to use. If your bathroom receives more light then you can use a brighter shade of yellow, if not use a mellow hue of yellow. It was also suggested to only use this color in "one or two" walls to accentuate it the best.
