After signing a six-year, $114-million contract last year which included a $25.5-million signing bonus, Miami Dolphins' defensive lineman, Ndamukong Suh, placed his money on a good property. He purchased the most expensive home among NFL players. According to Miami Curbed, the NFL player paid $7 million for an 11,142-square-foot home in Coral Ridge last July. It was reported that the property is a three-story waterfront estate with a total of six bedrooms and eight bathrooms.
According to the report by the Wall Street Journal, Suh, who is named the highest paid defensive tackle in NFL history, set another record in his Fort Lauderdale Florida home when he bought the place in August. The home was reported to be partially furnished when Suh bought the property which has very modern architecture with high ceilings and walls of glass.
The home was originally built in 2013, and some of the amenities inside the home include an 11-seat home theater, a game room and a fitness center which overlooks the swimming pool. There is an entertaining space located at the rooftop that is accessible via the elevator and is decked out with artificial grass. It is also complete with patio furniture and a flat screen TV.
Listing details of the property reveal that the estate is situated on a large lot which includes 100 feet of water, and it has a total of 16,192 square feet of living space which includes the patio and the balconies. It also has an open floor plan and lets a significant amount of natural light to enter.
Suh's previous home was sold in 2015 when he listed his Colonial-style home in Birmingham in Michigan which is 20 miles north of Detroit for $3.1 million. The property has five bedrooms and four bathrooms. It has a total living space of 7,394 square feet, and some of the amenities include a massage room, indoor sports court and a fitness room.
