The Oprah in Mexico Invests In Manhattan

So much about Oprah Winfrey, let's talk about another Oprah. Martha Debayle, dubbed as "the Oprah Winfrey of Mexico," has just invested in Manhattan, recent reports say.

This media mogul spent $3.4 million for an apartment at the Manhattan House located at the Upper East Side. The apartment is a condo with three bedrooms and three bathrooms, according to New York Post.

This radio host and businesswoman has apparently found a good place to settle down in 200 East 66th Street at a 1,676-square-foot condo. The condo has a large dining room and living area. The kitchen is windowed for the any chef's comfort. It has a wine cooler. According to The Real Deal, Debayle found this house through the help of Cindy Bernat of The Corcoran Group, her real estate broker.

This newly purchased property is designed by Merill, Skidmore and Owings. Built in 1952, this 20-story building was totally modified and changed into high-end condos. According to Street Easy, condos' prices range from $1.1 million to $12.5 million. The price might seem expensive but given that the building was totally renovated, such range of pricing is reasonable.

Debayle might have been thinking like a queen as what the real Oprah once said. Thinking that you are a queen would give you a headstart on what housing standards you are really up to. The more you think you deserve something better, the non-guilty it would be for you to pay higher for your personal life, specifically your home, and Debayle did just so.

Meanwhile, in a report in Realty Today, Oprah Winfrey spent $13.75 million recently for a beautiful home in Telluride. Also, the "Oprah of Mexico" just did. Is this what it means to be a media mogul? Well, the two must have the best of both worlds, so to speak.
