New Apple Store to Launch at Brickell City Centre

Apple is slated to open a new store at Brickell City Centre, Florida, reports say.

The store construction is worth $1.05 billion and would be Apple's biggest store in Florida, according to Real Deal and South Florida Business Journal. This tech company development in a 500,000-square-foot shopping center is definitely fulfilled considering that each major city in the world has an Apple Store, except Brickell, Miami's urban core.

This new construction will also address the concerns of mainlanders and downtowners who still have to travel to Kendall, South Beach, or Aventura just to grab any Mac accessory. This struggle will be resolved soon come this new store launch. This upcoming branch in Brickell will display the next-generation iPhones in hopes of helping the company's holiday sales.

However, a spokesperson from Apple said that this launching isn't confirmed yet but Apple did not deny this either, according to Miami New Times.

"We haven't made any announcements about a store at that location," a staff in this tech company stated in an interview.

As people try to confirm the news, developers of Brickell City refused to comment on it, of which many might have wondered. But, Apple Insider says that Apple has been very private about its business plans. Currently, Apple has been operating branches in Aventura, Falls, Dadeland and Lincoln Road where people have also been rushing around.

Brickell City Center is scheduled to open in September 2016. Along with this new Apple Store are 70 stores and restaurants also taking shape in this shopping center, including stores for fashion and personal accessories, arts and services, apparel, among others. Hotels, condos, and office buildings are also part of the construction project in the area, Miami Herald reported.

Apple Insider reports that luxury retailers will house on the first floor of the shopping center and this new Apple Store might be on the first floor as this tech company is a luxury branch itself. Apple's other new locations are also situated in shopping districts that are high end.
