Aspiring model Kendall Jenner has reportedly cut ties with her mom when it comes to managing her career.
Radar Online writes that "Kendall has made it very clear to Kris that she is no longer managing her career," said a source close to the family. "Kris is aware of this ... Kendall has moved out and moved on months ago."
The 19-year-old is said to be dumping her mom as her manager and is looking to hire a professional management team.
"She sees straight through all of her mom's BS and she will not let Kris exploit her like Kris did Kim," continued the insider referring to Kim Kardashian, 34, Kendall's half-sister.
The decision is believed to have stemmed from her mother's recent promotion of the model's racy photos for Love Magazine's online Advent calendar over her Instagram account, notes Movie News Guide. The photos featured the teen wearing lingerie while she is straddling/ getting spanked by Santa Claus.
"These photos were tame compared to what Kim has done and everyone is making a big deal out of nothing," shared Radar's source.
"She did not ask Kris to promote this in any way," continued the insider. "Kris has been investing a lot of time in Kendall and Kendall does not invest any time on Kris. She's done."
In the recent years, the 59-year-old mom has been criticized for exploiting her girls for fame. However, during an interview with Us Weekly via Design & Trend, the reality star mom defended her actions.
"One moment, I'm talking to Khloe as her mom," recanted Jenner in Feb. 2013. "Suddenly, she'll turn around and say ... 'I'm your client, you didn't do this.' I get scolded or, you know, they're not happy about something and I have to fix it.'"
She added, "Although these are my daughters, they are also my clients and they need respect."
Per an article by Yahoo! Australia in October, Kendall has been making a conscious effort to distance herself from her Kardashian name.
"She wants to be accepted by the industry on her own terms, which is impossible when Kim and Kanye are arriving in headline-grabbing outfits. Kim means the world to Kendall, and vice versa, but they increasingly belong in different worlds," quoted Yahoo! of Grazia UK's source.
