Barbie continues to keep up with the demands of the changing generation. In January, they introduced a new set of Barbie dolls that the company will release soon. This month, they are to unveil another surprise.
The surprise involves that of the high tech makeover of the iconic house of Barbie. Mashable released a statement saying that the newly updated house will be called the Hello Dreamhouse.
The dreamhouse will be released during the Fall season. It is said to be not like any other doll house offered in the market. According to Mattel, their newly furnished doll house will not just be limited to the aesthetics of the house, as they will focus more on integrating technical and mechanical upgrades.
The Hello Dreamhouse will be voice controlled. You will need to start every command with "Hello, Dreamhouse." The doll house also uses Wi-Fi connection and it can also be controlled by an app.
The dollhouse's lights can be turned on by using the voice control feature. You can even customize the colors of the light of the house through this feature as well.
You can even tell the house that it is time to go to school. This command will turn on the showers so your Barbie can prepare. Apart from that, you can also control the elevator and even the stoves.
The doll house can be in three different modes, which are the hangout mode, the fun house mode, and the dance party mode. These modes come with a specific light and sound setting that will match the mood of your Barbie. You can easily set the mood inside your Barbie dollhouse.
Mattel released a video that completely features the Hello Dreamhouse. The dollhouse will be sold for $299 each, and will debut in the market during the Fall.
