Here's a Look at English Cottages Across the Globe

Here's a look at some of the most beautiful English County cottages you can find across the globe.

Just recently, House Beautiful combined photos of the cottages with a brief caption. First on their list are the adorable orange and pink cottages in Essex.

"These adorable pink cottages sit nearby the historic John Webb's Mill in Thaxted, Essex."

A thatched roof and a red phone booth is what made a Wiltshire cottage truly English-inspired.

The publication also shared that there's a beautiful cottage in Cotswolds. Outside the property is a herd of sheep that may cause traffic among travelers but could delight those who want to take photos.

In Troutbeck Valley also lies another cottage that is painted in white and black.

"See the cottage way off in the distance? We'd like to live right there, thank you very much," the publication captioned the photo of the cottage with sheep right across.

Meanwhile, there's also an orange, black and white cottage located in Norfolk.

"This thatched cottage in Woodbastwick, Norfolk is pure whimsy," the site said.

Another cottage located in Sussex is quite larger compared with the other cottages. What makes it unique is the fact that it looks as if it came straight out of a movie or a fairytale. Think the animated film "Snow White," but add more colors to the dwarves' house.

Additionally, there's another cottage in Buckinghamshire, the photo of which on the site was captioned with, "Apparently, even the wisteria grows better on the other side of the Atlantic."

There are still several other English-inspired cottages found in the United Kingdom as well as other parts of the world. Owning one is actually ideal for those who prefer traditional style when it comes to houses. Not only is it relatively easy to maintain, it also boasts a different look and appeal ideal for individual living or for those with families.
