House Tour: 1940s Small Property Transformed Into a Tiny House

Here's a look at a 1940s small property also known as The Grain Silo Tiny House. According to House Beautiful, Grain Silo is a one-bedroom loft apartment that boasts a country-style feel. What makes the property interesting is the fact that it is made to look very unique.

"Sitting on a property of the Gruene Homestead Inn in New Braunfels, Texas, the small abode was formerly a 1940s grain silo. But now, the interior features a staircase leading to a room with a king bed, a tiny kitchen with a microwave and a refrigerator, and a stand-up shower," the publication noted.

The house is actually for rent and can accommodate two people at a reasonable price of $175 per night. Photos of the property were posted on Tiny House Talk website, and it showed how truly worth renting the Grain Silo is. The house comes with a private bedroom, a living area, and a bathroom - basically everything that you could ever need for just a short stay.

"And although it may be tiny, the novelty of sleeping in a grain silo is an idea too charming too resist," the site said.

Meanwhile, there are also some downsides to living in this property temporarily.

First, if you want to stay here with more people, this may seem impossible. Even though three people can fit inside the Grain Silo, it will make you feel cramped up.

Additionally, the Grain Silo is located on the grass, so if you have allergies, renting out this place might also not be a good idea.

Now that you have some knowledge about the Grain Silo and how cheap it truly is to rent out, think whether or not this could be your next apartment for a short period of time.
