'Die Hard' Bruce Willis Sells His Old Central Park Pad

Bruce Willis called the Upper West Side's Central Park, west of New York as his home, but used to live in a San Remo building with his former wife Demi More. Recently, one of their apartments where he used to stay was listed for sale.

Willis appears to be a fanatic of buying and selling properties, specifically in New York's Central Park. The action hero was reported to have bought a fancy duplex with a size of 550 square meters at 271 Central Park West. The said property was purchased after he sold his apartment in the twin tower of Eldorado building, just two blocks away from the road.

Together with his wife Emma Heming, Willis sold their single-unit co-op to move into a larger place after having their second child. Goldman Sachs Asset Management head Armen Avanessians and the firm's quantitative business was able to quickly obtain Willis' old 290-square meter property, NY Post reported.

However, just a year after Avanessians acquired it, Willis placed the apartment again on sale for nearly US$13 million. The listing is now being managed by the lead broker and founder of Pinkwater Select, Royce Pinkwater.

Based on the latest descriptions of the three-bedroom apartment, which is located at 1931 Art Deco Building, the unit has over 15 meters of the magnificent view of the Central Park, including the direct vistas from the master bedroom. According to Pinkwater, there are about 20 newly installed windows that seem to wrap you up once you step into the posh foyer, dining and living rooms.

"Die Hard" lead actor's luxurious unit was carefully renovated for a couple of years. Interior details vary from the latest sleek molding and patina finish doors, to the herringbone flooring and gray walnut panel. The kitchen was made from a couple of an old maid's room, but now fitted with the custom cabinets from Bilotta and expensive appliances, Billionaire reported.
