'Unchained Melody' Elvis Presley Excites Fans Once More as Palm Springs Home Up For Sale

"Unchained Melody" singer Elvis Presley, the rock 'n roll legend, made his fans celebrate once again. The ultimate Presley home in the beautiful Palm Springs, California is now up for grabs, including his Rock'n Roll memorabilias.

Look Magazine made a feature on Elvis' estate in 1962. Back then, it was called the "House of Tomorrow" because of its forward-thinking concept of design. Besides, Liza Marie Presley was also presumed to be conceived in this place. The historic mid-century home in 1966 was only leased to Priscilla Presley and Elvis Presley for an estimated cost of $21,000, just to have a place to spend their honeymoon, Daily Mail reported.

The property's original lease contract is still hanging in one of its walls. The design of the house is made of four perfect circles, specifically on three levels, featuring five bathrooms and four bedrooms.

Elvis' Palm Springs home is located at the foot of the San Jacinto Mountains, where a honeymoon suite provides a wide view of the mountain. A tennis court, swimming pool, as well as a fruit orchard are just a few of its several other features. The place is now owned by an Elvis fan named M. L. Lewis, who bought the said property for around $500,000 in 1987.

Since then, the property has been restored to its grand 1960's feel, which also features furnishings and decorative art designs throughout. At present, the house is also a museum, open to all tourists during weekends. It comes with a whole pack of Elvis' memorabilia, which the visitors are able to keep for themselves.

Elvis' avid fans can still identify the home from the movie "Elvis and Me," as well as from the documentary "Elvis by the Presley" that starred Priscilla herself. Any fan of Elvis with a very huge budget and looking out on the market for some Elvis time capsule will most probably have found the perfect one around, Ultra Swank reported.
