Celebrity Homes: Here's a Look at a Writers' Haven in Budapest

Here's a look at a fairytale-inspired villa in Budapest.

According to Elle Décor, Brody House is an extremely affordable hotel, private club and restaurant located in Central Pest. Its founders Peter Grundberg and William Clothier recently opened a new hotel in Buda Hills. Also known as the Brody Villa, the place has become a 19th century-inspired writer's house.

According to Clothier, "It's a maze of love stories; from its initial conception to the craftsmanship of the building and its recent restorations. It's little-told stories from the turbulence of Transylvania. It's captivating. Be warned, it will make you want to tour the region."

If you are at the hotel, Clothier listed down some of the activities you can definitely enjoy like partying at the Brody Studio. You can also check out the photo exhibition at one of the multiple galleries found in the hotel. The villa/hotel also boasts a steam room where you can enjoy Rudas baths or public baths.

If you are looking for your next destination and can't think of a place that you want to check out, hopefully this article has inspired you to visit the Brody House.

Meanwhile, it would also be wonderful to know some information about Budapest or where the hotel is located.

"Budapest is a grand old European capital the way the grand old European capitals should be. It has beautiful, stately architecture including some of the most beautiful Secessionist buildings on the continent), a rich, impossibly complex history, and a huge river - the Danube - snaking through the middle of it. The Danube once actually separated Budapest into two distinct cities: Buda to the west, with its beautiful, rolling hills, and Pest to the east, and though unification came in 1873, the regions retain distinct characters," the site noted.
