Hot Celebrity Homes of Johnny Galecki, Celine Dion and James Dearden

Property investment is not a new thing for celebrities. Some of them even like to collect homes, design them, renovate them and then sell them for added profits. Some might just want to move up or downsize or liquidate properties.

Here are three of the hottest celebrity homes that made rounds in the news in recent days.

Johnny Galecki's Hollywood Hills Home

"The Big Bang Theory" actor, Johnny Galecki, has just sold his Hollywood Hills home for $2.501 million to fashion personalities Joe Zee and Rob Younkers. After a bidding war, Galecki brought more than half a million dollars above his asking price for his property. The actor listed the 1,700-square-foot home last February for $1.995 million, The Wall Street Journal reported.

The house has two bedrooms, a pool with a tub and waterfall, a sunken sitting area around a fire pit, and a view of the city skyline.

Celine Dion's Jupiter Island Water-Park Home

Celine Dion has been looking for a new owner of her oceanfront mansion in Jupiter Island, Florida since 2013. The asking price for the singer's house has been cut from $72.5 million to $45.5 million, LA Times reported. The property measures 5.7 acres and includes water fun features such as twisting slides and river currents.

James Dearden's Beverly Crest Home

Screenwriter James Dearden and his wife Annabel Brooks have recently remodeled his two-story house in Beverly Crest which is now listed for $5.995 million. Built in the 1940s, the Art Deco-inspired home is situated half an acre above Benedict Canyon. It has 5,286 square feet of living space with high ceilings and stone floors. The living room opens to the swimming pool area. Its kitchen features stainless appliances and a fireplace. The white-walled contemporary retreat has a media room, a den and a powder room, LA Times said.
