Los Angeles Building Offers Skyscraper Trail for Guests

Here's a look at a beautiful building in Los Angeles that features a skyscraper trail for guests.

The glass slide in Los Angeles starts at 1,000 feet above the ground and spans 45 feet across the sky. At present, the glass slide has become the most popular attraction at OUE Skyspace LA, a multi-level building found in the U.S. Bank Tower.

"When it comes to safety, you can be the slide is enclosed, and it will be made of a 1.25-inch thick glass. Granted, that doesn't sound as sturdy as the eight-inch-thick glass at the now famous sky pool, but we suppose the slide will only hold one human at a time - not gallons and gallons of water," according to Elle Décor.

As of late, this tourist attraction is still not open, but it is expected to open its slide come June 25. Tickets will start to go on sale on March 18 and will cost $25 per person.

Meanwhile, according to Business Insider, glass-bottomed designs have been popular for at least a decade now.

"It all started in 1974 with Willis Tower's deeply unsettling attraction, Skydeck Chicago, a glass box pushed out nearly 1,400 above the ground. Others have sine followed suit," the publication noted.

In other news, since the price per head is relatively cheap at $25, it's expected that people will line up for the experience of a lifetime. If you want to be able to make sure that your slot is reserved, remember to purchase your tickets on March 18.

On the other hand, if you are the type of person who has fear of heights, then trying the glass side may not be ideal for you. What you can do instead is accompany a friend and just look at the slide from below the grounds.
