Real Estate News: New Uber-Like App Developed for Real Estate Agents

Good news for many real estate agents: a new app which acts like Uber is now available. The new app called Real allows real estate agents to avoid the conventional brokerage model and allows them to work like their own bosses.

According to Curbed, the licensed realtors who sign up for the app will be connected to a one-stop platform which allows them to manage appointments, send out market materials and even handle the accounting. The app also provides real leads without referral fee charges. This app is perfect for real estate agents who want to earn more money and also grow in their careers.

Many independent contractors get a more favorable property split when a property is sold 85/15. This will also be perfect for arrangement agents who receive a 70/30 split from their sales.

CEO and founder Tamir Poleg said that the app and network was built to be an open platform for real estate agents. It allows them to work independently and on their own time. With their flexible schedules, they can still be sure to receive 24-hour support. Because of the rise of technology, this will benefit real estate agents and allow them to be more mobile and quickly find leads. Technological tools like this will be a good investment for them.

Poleg founded the network with a friend in July 2014, and it aimed to automate many of the functions of a brokerage. The company buys and sources many real estate leads from Zillow and Trulia, and the network will distribute them to the agents based on their location.

The company recently received $6 million funding, and with that, Poleg believes that more agents will be joining this year, widening the states that the network is covering. Potential home buyers and clients can also use the app to talk with agents and also apply for mortgage.
