The luxury resort in Paradise Island located off Nassau, Bahamas, One&Only Ocean Club, recently completed renovation of its Hartford Wing. The Hartford Wing of the property was previously devastated by Hurricane Odile, and now the multimillion-dollar renovation brings guests the utmost luxury again with new features such as an infinity pool, bar and grill.
According to Architectural Digest, the renovation project was a collaboration between HKS Architects and Jeffrey Beers International, a design firm. The fact that the Hartford Wing of the luxury resort was once a private estate was taken into consideration in the new design of the area. Now it marries the rich history of the place as well as fresh hues inspired by the natural surroundings.
The renovation made all 52 rooms larger, with an additional 110 square feet and a terrace or balcony where guests can enjoy garden or ocean views. This feature is reportedly something new to the Hartford Wing, according to the general manager of One&Only Ocean Club, John Conway.
According to the resort's official website, the luxury hotel offers "legendary splendor on tropical island shores." Here you'll find the 125-foot long infinity pool. The newly renovated Hartford Wing was described as "the heart and soul of the resort." Accommodations here include garden cottages, ocean view rooms and suites, luxury beachfront rooms and the villa residences which offer utmost elegance.
The luxurious villas have their own infinity pools facing the ocean, and the living room features sliding doors that open to the stunning view of the pool and the beach. Ocean views can also be enjoyed from the master bedroom, which has direct access to the pool area.
To provide an even more luxurious stay for guests, the accommodations come with a complimentary Don Perignon on arrival, Molton Brown amenities, complimentary beach bag, priority restaurant reservations and more.
