Celebrity Homes: Cary Grant's Palm Springs Home for Sale at $3.495M

Veteran actor Cary Grant's former Palm Springs is currently being sold for $3.595 million.

According to Elle Décor, Grant's property boasts a rich history not only because he owns it, but because he has been in love with the place since 1954. At that time, he commissioned architect Wallace Neff to work his wonders on his upcoming home. More specifically, the property boasts a total of six bedrooms, six baths, vaulted ceilings, French doors and a beautiful garden.

As of late, the owner of the property is Dr. Guy Burrows, and he is the one selling it to the next rightful owner.

While speaking with the Wall Street Journal, Burrows revealed that he had spent hundreds and thousands of dollars in maintaining the house. Some of the elements he made sure to maintain were the home's terra-cotta floors and wood-burning fireplaces.

The Burrows family decided to list the place first for rent for anyone who wants to stay there temporarily. However, their main goal is to really sell it because they are moving to a different neighborhood.

In total, Grant's former house boasts 6,000-square-feet land and house area.

Photos of the property have also been shared online, and they show that the Grant's former house also has a swimming pool, a full-range kitchen and a beautiful master suite. The house is currently listed on The Agency's website, where more information may be found.

On the front walls of the house is a signage that reads, "Las Palomas Cary Grant Estate Completed 1930/Restored 2009. Built by pioneer Dr. Jacob John Kocher in Spanish Andalusian farm house style, including thick stucco walls and wooden windows and shutters. Residents of film legend Cary Grant from 1954-72."
