Home Design: Is Pink the Right Color for Your Child's Room?

Here's a look at different accents in color pink that could change your child's room's overall appearance.

Elle Décor recently compiled different photos of restaurants, homes, and certain parts of the house that have pink as its color accent. For instance, one living room had a certain part of its wall painted in pink as well as the floor.

Another photo shows a restaurant with pink walls, chairs and couches. One photo shows a bed that has a pink headboard, a pink light and pink duvet covers. Another photo shows a living room with a pink throw pillow, pink chair and even a pink carpet.

In the bathroom, one photo also shows that the bathtub is pink, as well as the cabinets. The photo was originally posted on Trine's Wardrobe.

With this, you can easily be convinced that pink is such a beautiful color and it can be perfect for any part of the house.

Meanwhile, if you are thinking if this is the color that your child's bedroom should have, then here are some things you need to take into consideration. First of all, what is your child's favorite color? If her favorite color is pink, then there's absolutely no problem. However, if she loves another color, all you can do is combine it with pink. After all, it's the color of the year.

Second, you also have to think which parts of her room will be in pink hues. Is it the bed sheet, the carpet or the headboard itself?

Third, make sure that you allot more than enough budget to incorporate the color pink into your daughter's bedroom.

Lastly, always ask for her opinion on things. If she doesn't necessarily like color pink, then there's no reason for you to include it in her room.

What are you waiting for? Talk to your daughter now and ask for her opinion.
