2016 Real Estate Deals: Tishman Speyer’s Lumina, Crescent Heights’ Jasper Win Recognitions

Real estate projects are recognized annually by the Bay Area Real Estate Deals of the Year Awards, and dozens of nominations were received this year. Out of the 34 winners, seven came from housing projects.

The new affordable and within the market rate condos and apartments were completed last year across the East Bay, San Francisco and the Peninsula. The award winning projects stood out because of their several impressive features.

The real estate winner Lumina by Tishman Speyer is located above the San Francisco waterfront, at the core of innovation, culture and technology. This unique project secures the two highest entire floors of Lumina SF's tallest tower. Skillfully designed by Arquitectonica's Bernardo Fort-Brescia in a curvilinear configuration, it captured the iconic sights of San Francisco marker like the Ferry Building, the Downtown Financial Center and the San Francisco Bay Bridge.

According to a report from Zillow, Lumina has dramatic features, shiny walls of glass in two areas and the double-height living rooms with a height of approximately 20 feet. The downstairs layout includes five main entertaining rooms that enclose approximately 150+/- linear feet of sights of downtown San Francisco, in addition to the family lounge, gym and massage areas and five en-suite bedrooms upstairs.

Another winner for this year is Jasper by Crescent's Height. The project has been famous for its luxury high-rise, with prices, finishes and amenities that are the same with other San Francisco high-end condos just like The Four Seasons, the Millenium Tower, The St. Regis, nearby One Rincon Hill and The Infinity.

Jasper has taken apartments into a new level of luxury. The Madison Park Financial's 3900 Adeline and Signature's Hive were the sole major projects within the market rate that were finished in Oakland last year.

Real estate projects like Half Moon Village by Mid-Pen, according to a report from Biz Journal, offer services on-site for the affordable old units, while 1400 Mission by Tishman Speyer and TNDC is among the few affordable projects on sale in San Francisco.
