Financial guru Suze Orman and her wife Kathy Travis are now selling their New York apartment for $4 million. According to New York Curbed, the couple bought the place in 2007 for $3.6 million. The 2,279-square-foot apartment was also originally listed for $4.5 million in September before the couple decided on the recent price cut.

Listing details reveal that it is considered the best residence available at The Plaza Private Residences. The unit was said to be completely rebuilt, making it elegant and unique. It features a grand gallery entry which leads to the stunning living room and dining area.

The living and dining rooms are designed with encaustic plaster, millwork paneling and marble walls. The kitchen is fully equipped with Viking and Miele appliances and is designed with custom cabinetry and black granite countertops. Additional features of the apartment include 11-foot high ceilings and herringbone floors.

The home has a large master bedroom with custom closets and exquisite finishes. The windows add a touch of elegance with their designer silk wall fabrics. It was said that all the designer furniture, window treatments, lighting, carpeting, and a private storage room are included in the sale.

The building also offers a wide range of amenities like separate residents' entry, room and cleaning services and access to the different facilities of the hotel like The Oak Room & Bar, spa and fitness center, as well as the Warren Tricomi hair salon. 

According to Celebrity Net Worth, Orman has an estimated net worth of $35 million. Aside from being a financial advisor, she is also a television personality, motivational speaker and author. It was said that she earned her money as a financial advisor for Merrill Lynch and also as vice president of Prudential Bache Securities.

She is also the founder of the Suze Orman Financial Group. She has made a number of television appearances and even had her own show called "The Suze Orman" show, which aired for 10 years.
