Here's a look at a stunning Southern-style porch in Alabama that was recently featured on Elle Décor. The property, which is owned by the CEO of Phantom Screens Esther de Wolde, decided to renovate her home based on her liking.
Wolde started off with renovating her front porch. Previously, this area of the house looked bland. However, when she included antique light fixtures, a porch swing and a wicker seating, her porch immediately turned into one of her favorite parts of her house.
The interior of her property was not renovated as much, and photos were also not shared online. However, Wolde's good friend Beth of Unskinny Boppy said that the porch was very in tune with the other areas of the property.
Esther also shared a part-by-part tour of her newly renovated house in Alabama on her official website. Other than Wolde's porch, the CEO also had her hall and foyer renovated. This part of the house featured walls that are painted in white and a wooden floor that is so shiny you can look at your reflection.
The walls have framed photos of Wolde and her loved ones. A small black table made out of metal can also be found there.
Additionally, the home owner's new living room now has a huge chandelier, and the master bedroom was repainted in sky blue shades. The kitchen has a small bar area and a full range of kitchen appliances and amenities. Other parts of her house that were renovated include the dining area, guest bedroom, bathroom, the gentleman's parlor, garden and the back porch.
If you are thinking of having your home renovated anytime soon, hopefully you can find inspiration from what Wolde had done to her Alabama property. Remember to always prepare enough budget so that you can complete your renovation in no time.
