Pop superstar Justin Bieber shoots down rumors that he and his "good friend" Hailey Baldwin had been dating and declared that he is still single.
In a report from E! News Online, the 20-year-old singer outright denied speculations of a new flame in the persona of the 18-year-old model.
According to People, the two had been seen spending plenty of time with each other as seen in photos of them posted on their social media accounts.
In response to the spreading rumors on his alleged new girlfriend, Bieber uploaded a black-and-white photo of him and Baldwin seated at the back of a car captioned: "People are crazy. I'm super single and this is my good friend u would know otherwise."
To support the pop star's claims, Stephen Baldwin's daughter explained to E! News last week that they were indeed nothing more than friends. She narrated how she got to know Bieber, emphasizing that she had known him since she was 13 years old and that they had stayed close over the years.
"I've known him since I was so young - since I was like 13 - and we've just been good friends over the years. We have just stayed close and there's nothing more to it than that," she told E! News.
In a more recent statement, Baldwin took to Twitter to do some rumor control and to affirm the "Boyfriend" singer's post on Instagram.
"hope that clarifies everything for everyone:) rumors are silly!" she stated.
However, Hollywood Life claims that the "friends" were seen "packing on the PDA" during a romantic date at the Stage Social House on December 12 where they allegedly had a "hard time keeping their hands off of each other."
According to their source, Bieber was seen pulling up his red Ferrari in front of a restaurant where he allegedly stayed in a private room with the 18-year-old model.
Also, Justin Bieber posted on Twitter that he spent the evening with his "homey" during Chris Brown's concert in Washington on December 14 -- the same evening that Kendall Jenner uploaded a photo showing her with model Hailey Baldwin on the same venue.
Though there had been no image showing the four together, or indicating a "date," Hollywood Life reported that Bieber and Baldwin might have been double-dating with Brown and Jenner during the RnB singer's concert.
A month before that, the rumored couple was also spotted together during Baldwin's 18th birthday celebration. What do you think? Are the two really just friends?
