'Bajillion Dollar Propertie$' Presents Real Estate Comedy

"Bajillion Dollar Propertie$" is a TV show designed to appeal to millions of Americans who are addicted to real estate reality shows. The series main idea is to go against the predictability of most shows of the genre.

"Bajillion Dollar Propertie$" is streamed on Seeso, NBC's comedy streaming service. It is a spoof of high-end real estate shows. It focuses on the fictional Platinum Real Estate in Beverly Hills headed by the stylish Dean Rosedragon whose graying hair does not match his scruffy brown goatee. He founded the business with nothing but a $10 million loan from his father. Now, he wants to offer one of his agents a partnership.

The show's crazy client base include a drunken showbiz type wanting to sell his mansion with an exotic view of sharks and octopuses. When he sobers up, he accuses the listing agents of invading his home. They get him drunk seven more times until the sale is made.

Seeso charges $3.99 a month for its services, but the first episode of "Bajillion Dollar Properties" is free, according to a report from The Washington Post.

The shows premise was inspired by creator Scott Aukerman's experience of buying a house, and seeing 200 places before finally finding the one he wanted to live in. He described it as a stressful situation. He recountedone conversation, when he saw a place and declared that if it was not right, then he will never be satisfied.

"Bajillion Dollar Propertie$" creator joked that he was going insane and his poor broker was having to deal with him. And also, he was fascinated in watching these type of shows like "Million Dollar Listing" and "Property Brothers." When he was conceptualizing shows that he wanted to do, originally he had a smaller web show in mind that was about six minutes long, according to a report from Observer.
