Miami Dolphins' Branden Albert Sells South Florida Home for $1.95 Million

Miami Dolphins' Branden Albert just listed his newly remodeled home in Davie for $1.95 million. The player entrusted with covering Ryan Tannehill's blind side constructed an extravagant backyard entertainment area, with a $300,000 pool that included a swim-up bar, tiki hut, and sweeping lake views. The Pro Bowler put the five-bedroom contemporary loft  which measured 5,728 square feet with Kimberly Knausz as the listing agent.

The newly renovated 10-year-old lot was one of only three lakeview properties  in this community over 30 minutes away from Miami.

Albert's elegant living room featured an ornate staircase, according to a feature from the Realtor. The master bathroom had a soaking tub and a detailed chandelier. The chef's kitchen had an open layout and featured an island, custom designed cabinetry, and an oversized fridge.

Deep within the athlete's home was a unique shoe closet with ample space for 250 pairs of expensive kicks. Neatly arranged on luxurious wood shelving as well as on stylish shelves flanking a mirror were high-top sneakers, other costly athletic shoes and a shoe salon belonging to the offensive tackle.

Albert splurged $350,000 on remodeling the backyard with a pool, Tiki hut, outdoor kitchen, river, spa with hot and cold jets, and a contemporary swim-up bar. Other opulent amenities that came with the property that was well-suited for a pro athlete were a retro-style barbershop to keep their cut looking fresh and a home theater perfect for Oscar parties.

The 6,000-square-foot property comes with five bedrooms and seven bathrooms.

One Sotheby's listing agent Kimberly Knausz stated that the home had an enviable convertible closet that can be easily customized for hanging space, according to a feature from Miami Curbed. The home also featured a lazy flowing river which she had not seen in a property before, except for condo buildings.

Albert, a two-time Pro Bowler, had recently signed a five-year, $47 million contract with Miami worth $26 million.
