Orlando Scandrick's fiancée Draya Michelle will give birth to their son soon, and the couple has reportedly gone house hunting as preparation. The two were reportedly spotted looking at a property in Sherman Oaks.
TMZ reports that sources close to the football star claim that the couple is eyeing a secluded Cod Cape compound in the Sherman Oaks/Encino area, which is where most celebrity homes can be found.
Scandrick previously owned a house in Woodland Hills, which he listed on the market for $2.1 million back in September 2015. He bought the property for $1.755 million, Los Angeles Times reported. The house has an outdoor kitchen, a spa and a swimming pool, in which Draya Michelle reportedly threw Scandrick's shoes during a fight.
"He's a shoe guy, I put the shoes in the pool. I put the Yeezys in the pool. I'm not gonna sugar coat it, I'm a little crazy. I'm gonna talk about your mama, it's an argument!" she shared in a radio talk last year.
In more recent news, ESPN reports that Scandricks is recovering well from his injury, along with his Dallas Cowboys teammates Tony Romo and Dez Bryant. Scandrick is reportedly on track with his recovery from "torn anterior cruciate and medial collateral ligaments." He is said to be capable of doing some activities during the offseason, but the team wants to make sure that he is healthy enough for the start of the training camp.
According to spotrac, Scandrick has a five-year contract as a cornerback with the Dallas Cowboys worth $19 million. That includes a signing bonus of $3 million and another guaranteed $3 million. Orlando Scandrick's salary is said to be $3.8 million annually. This year, he will reportedly earn a base salary of $5 million.
