Fox's Rupert Murdoch Lists Greenwich Village Townhouse for $28.9M; Newlyweds Twitter Hints Happy Marriage

Fox News Channel Rupert Murdoch has put his Greenwich Village property on the market for $28.9 million, just a month after his wedding to former model Jerry Hall. The media mogul purchased the house in April 2015 for $25 million. He and Hall became a couple in late summer of the same year.

Murdoch's listing said the townhouse had been newly renovated, with seamlessly paired unparalleled details and finishes with authentic cultural design. The four-bedroom home has seven bathrooms, a four-person elevator, a garden terrace, multiple entertaining areas, and sweeping city scenery, including that of the Empire State Building.

The executive's multi level townhouse boasts over 6,500 square feet of interior space, with a roof deck. The listing described the home as move-in ready, according to a feature from Realtor.com.

Recently, the pair was spotted chatting and laughing during their stay in the south of France. Australian-born Murdoch, held his fourth bride's hand as they walked and took in the sights of Saint Paul de Vence, a fortified village just a 15 minute drive from Nice. Murdoch wore a navy blazer, blue scarf, jeans, a pair of trainers and black sunglasses. On the other hand, her new husband opted for a beige suit jacket, brown shoes, cream sweater and a maroon shirt.

At one point, Murdoch looked ready for a rest as he blew out his cheeks while the couple crossed the road. His wife was seen reading a couple of magazines as they browsed through souvenirs at a local shop. The village was also known as the burial place of art icon Marc Chagall and had galleries. The location was also popular with tourists for its authentic medieval feel and breathtaking views.

Murdoch and his wife's honeymoon stroll came after the supermodel posted an image on Twitter of the pair with their 10 children from previous marriages, according to a feature from The Daily Mail.
