Chris Hemsworth Net Worth: ‘Thor’ Actor’s Homes in L.A. Sold

It was previously reported that Australian actor Chris Hemsworth recently moved back to his hometown. With the move, he listed his homes in L.A. on the market, and a new report states that they have been sold, giving the actor an extra earning of $2.6 million.

According to an exclusive report by TMZ, Hemsworth was able to sell his Malibu home for $7 million. He listed the property last month for $6.5 million, but he bought it for a much lower price, $4.8 million. The celebrity home measures 6,800 square feet and features five bedrooms.

Meanwhile, Hemsworth's other property was sold for $1.25 million. It is a condo located in Santa Monica which is obviously comparably smaller than his Malibu home. The online publication states that Hemsworth originally bought the property for $820,000.

Based on the pictures on the site, the Santa Monica celebrity home has a huge living room space, with a flat screen TV propped up on the wall and a white carpet in the middle. Wooden furniture can be seen lying around, and there's a fireplace at the corner.

The living room opens out to an outdoor area with a small table and a cushion. Meanwhile, the kitchen features a stainless steel oven with a hood. There's a small dining area with wicker chairs perfect for the growing family, and a huge painting on the wall highlights the space.

According to Celebrity Net Worth, Chris Hemsworth has a net worth of $60 million. He rose to fame for his role as the God of Thunder Thor in the Avengers films, but he has been modeling and acting in his native Australia before that. His debut as an actor in America was in the 2009 "Star Trek" reboot. He is the older brother of Liam Hemsworth. Chris' upcoming movie is the sequel to the "Snow White and the Huntsman," titled "The Huntsman: Winter's War."
