Celebrity Homes for Sale: Uma Thurman Lists Gramercy Park Co-Op for $6.25M

Actress Uma Thurman listed her Gramercy Park co-op that comes with a coveted key to the park for $6.25 million. According to New York Curbed, Thurman lived inside the building on and off for 15 years, and she first settled in the three-bedroom unit with ex-husband Ethan Hawke before trading up for a different three-bedroom unit in the same building years after their divorce.

She overhauled the apartment while living in a nearby Greenwich Village townhouse. She purchased the duplex for $2.65 million and added another one-bedroom unit which she purchased for $1.55 million. Both of the units were combined during a renovation, and the living area of the smaller apartment became one of two master bedrooms in the apartment.

Listing details now reveal that the unit has a total of five bedrooms and three full bathrooms after the renovation. It features a gracious gallery with a stunning staircase that leads to the public rooms of the apartment. The corner of the living room is designed with a wood-burning fireplace and pocket doors which open to the library on one side and an elegant formal dining room on the other. It also has double French doors which open from the dining room to the terrace that offer charming views of Gramercy Park.

The celebrity home also has an oversized eat-in windowed kitchen complete with appliances and designed with marble and walnut countertops. The master bedroom is located on the main level, and it features a large walk-in closet, a dressing area and a separate entrance to a windowed bathroom which is shared with another smaller corner bedroom.

The upper level of the apartment is where the additional three bedrooms are located. It also has a master bedroom with a stunning bathroom and walk-in closet.

Uma Thurman is now moving to her River House co-op which she purchased for $10 million in 2013.
