Home Design: Here's a Look at the Smartest Night Stand

Smart furniture company Curvilux recently launched an Indiegogo campaign that aims to solicit funds for the creation and launching of the smartest night stand to have ever been built across the world.

According to Elle Décor, the up-and-coming nightstand will have its own wireless charger which makes it the most ideal night stand for anyone who loves sleeping very close to their phone or laptop.

Other than the wireless charger, the nightstand is also expected to have its own integrated speakers, programmable lighting systems, motion and temperature sensors, USB ports, a drawer that can be electronically locked and unlocked using a smartphone, a Bluetooth connectivity and more.

At first glance, the nightstand looks rather simple. However, it can also be used to simulate sunrise by syncing the nightstand's lighting with the alarm clock.

In case you want to get up at night to pee, the nightstand also has built in sensors that automatically lights up so you won't trip or fall in the dark.

Each table is now on pre-sale for $199. At present, the company is still hoping to meet its $50,000 goal, and when this happens, they will start shipping the product this November.

Meanwhile, not everyone might be interested in buying this type of nightstand because they want to be away from any form of technology especially at night. One of the downsides of owning this nightstand is the fact that you might be encouraged to use your phone for a much longer period of time than usual because everything you will need is just right there beside you.

Still, it cannot be denied that there are also tons of benefits to owning this nightstand. Not only is it convenient to use, it can also be considered very reasonably-priced if all of its features will be taken into consideration.
