Rumours are flooding the internet about how Britney Spears look so unrecognizable in the cover of "Women's Health." The 33-year-old Hollywood superstar takes a stunning pose with her curvaceous body and fab belly but with a very controversial face.
Did she ever go through plastic surgery or is this a case of digital manipulation?
An avalanche of critiques popped up on Twitter, passing nasty judgments over Spear's relatively different look on the cover. Well, there isn't much issue to resolve in the leanness of her figure because she has been pretty serious with workout the past few months, following her pregnancy that widened her body. Most questions are directed towards her face.
In an article written from Yahoo Style, fans pointed out that "lines beneath and around her eyes are non-existent, her cheekbones a bit higher than normal, jawline more chiseled and defined, and even her neck looks thinner."
Some fans are even censuring that the photo is a failed Photoshop experiment and that if it is indeed not digitally-manipulated, it could then be true that the singer may have undergone plastic surgery.
The "Oops I Did it Again" singer shares similar story with Lindsay Lohan -- careers that are both on the brink of dying -- so moving towards a dicey route of scalpels and needles is a promising postulation.
Britney Spears is reappearing from a career-threatening hiatus. It was reported that she was into drugs and was going through a lot of personal circumstances a couple of years back, and now she is trying to revive her career with a magazine cover as, perhaps, her first step.
With a goal to draw more media attention, this could be a hint that Spears is resorting all means to bring herself back to the spotlight. But there are sources invalidating the mounting gossip including a video proof that everything is nothing more than just makeup application.
In a video posted on E! Online, the actress indirectly attempts to disprove allegations about her undergoing plastic surgery by allowing fans to have a look of her doing the photo shoot, "where makeup and lighting give the already stunning singer an even more defined, gorgeous look."
But that's where the limit rests. There is nothing the fans could do to get glimpse of how the photos were "polished" but so long as they witnessed the singer in flesh, and pretty convinced that it's all under the voodoo of makeup, plastic surgery is now a busted gossip.
Photoshop is possible but proofs can be hard to find. Anyway, just like gadgets that have become more and more sophisticated these days, cosmetics may also have been notching higher and are now in the levels of photo editing or even plastic surgery.
