Prince William and Kate Middleton are currently on a tour in India to meet with dignitaries and visit historic sites and slum areas in the country. The royal couple's tour includes a stop at the world-famous Taj Mahal Palace in Mumbai.

According to the official press release, "The Duke and Duchess are following in the footsteps of other world figures, including The Prince of Wales and The US President who have both used their stays at the hotel to display solidarity with the people of this great city." The press release further states that the royal couple will offer a wreath at a memorial inside the luxury hotel. They will also meet with staff members and attend a Bollywood charity gala.

Taj Mahal Palace in Mumbai offers guests "true grandeur" and spectacular views of the Arabian Sea and Gateway of India. The luxury hotel dates back to 1903, and a one-night stay could cost $250 to $15000. Here, VIP travelers like Prince William and Kate Middleton can enjoy lavish amenities such as a private butler, chef, and spa.

One of the luxury suites, the Rajput suite, offers a generous space of 1,300 to 1,500 square feet. According to the hotel's official website, its "signature highlight" is an "expression of Rajasthani splendor." It features one king-size bed and sea views as well as of the Gateway of India. Other amenities include a 50-flat inch TV, Sony Bravia Home Theater system with surround sound, complimentary bottle of wine and fruit basket, an Italian marble bathroom with bathtub and more.

Meanwhile, aside from visiting Taj Mahal on their India tour, Prince William and Kate Middleton will also visit five different locations in six days.
