Celebrity Homes for Sale: Architect Clive Wilkinson Lists West Hollywood Home for $4.5M

Renowned architect Clive Wilkinson is selling his West Hollywood home for $4.5 million. The man behind the open and colorful office of Googleplex and the Disney store HQ decided to let go of the home which he built for himself in 2007. It was reported that he is creating another residence for his family.

According to Realtor, listing agent Wendy Gladson said that the home is a living and breathing example of his modern work which is depicted in the many offices and industrial place he already designed.

Listing details for the property say that the entrance of the home has an over-sized glass door which offers views of the entirety of the property. The glass continues to the living room and the kitchen.

The house also has a 48-foot saltwater swimming pool on the outside. The interior is filled with custom finishes throughout, and these include the white rubberized flooring on the stairs. There is also a double height dining area, and the kitchen has matching oak floors and kitchen island.

The living room features green weatherproof rapes which are hung on the outside. On the second floor there is an open flexible space and another bedroom with a bathroom that has a balcony where one can enjoy the views of Hollywood Hills.

There is also a guest room which overlooks the swimming pool. The two-level home has a total of 3,300 square feet of living space. It also includes a master suite which has its own courtyard and complete with a direct access from the pool to the master bathroom.

According to the listing agent, despite being close to a lively commercial area, the home still manages to make the occupants feel peaceful and enjoy complete privacy. The property is also filled with olive groves which will make anyone feel they're away from the urban community.
