According to Elle Décor, the before and after photos of the duplex are quite impressive because no one would think that it is just one and the same property. The owner of the duplex, Andrew McLaughlin is now the envy of thousands of New Yorkers because his house is truly unlike any other.
McLaughlin and his girlfriend Larissa decided to hire the services of the trusted interior design company Décor Aid for all of their renovation needs. Since the house owner works from home, he needed to make sure that his house would be comfortable and conducive for working.
The couple also spent much time with the redesigning of their kitchen. Even though both of them are not really fond of cooking lavish meals, they are fond of inviting friends over to dine with them.
Other than these things, McLaughlin also had to take his 10-year-old bulldog Harper into consideration for the new design of his duplex. With the help of Décor Aid, the couple was able to see the major differences in their duplex.
Now the kitchen and bathrooms are completely gutted and replaced with clean and streamlined designs. The living area was also designed to look very spacious and neat.
According to them, since they love watching TV and relaxing with their dog in the living room, they needed to make sure that there will be more than enough space for the three of them in this area of the house.
