It has been quite a while before a worthy home was dubbed as the most expensive listing has popped up. Public real estate listings in the $100 million range have remained quiet since Michael Jackson's Neverland Ranch sold for $100 million in May and the $135 million Danny Thomas estate listed in November.
Now, a Los Angeles mansion is introduced to the market for $150 million, making it one of the most expensive listing ever. Other luxury homes went into sale this week as well, which includes:
- Los Angeles home, $150 million. The most expensive listing in the list. The estate has room for 50 cars and is dubbed as the absolute finest estate offered in the market today, according to a feature from the Business Insider.
- Michigan home, $40 million. The 314-acre Saugatuck, Michigan home is a far second at $40 million. It is stated in the listing that "this property offers current and future market value growth potential.
- Connecticut home, $32 million. Over at Westport, Connecticut, there's a $32 million home which was the previous home of talk show legend Phil Donahue and actress Marlo Thomas before selling to investment banker Herbert Allison for $25 million in 2016. Allison passed away in 2013 and his century-old Tudor has been recently renovated to perfection, according to a feature from the NBC Connecticut.
- Tuscan-inspired home, $22 million. The Tuscan-inspired villa was former home to Barry Bonds, MLB megastar, before selling it for $22 million back in March 2014. It's listed at $31 million and has just reappeared this week in time for the approaching baseball season.
- New York City home, $24.95 million. The least in the most expensive list is still a whole lot expensive at $24.95 million in New York City. The Upper East Side townhouse has a total of 16 rooms and comes with a spa. There's an elevator which will lead to a sauna, swimming pool and Jacuzzi downstairs. Skyline views can be observed anytime at the terrace.
