Adding to the list of celebrities renting out Airbnb properties, Joe Jonas has booked the Rancho Mirage mansion for the Coachella event. The property costs $10,000 for a weekend stay.
According to TMZ, the Airbnb rental is the former home of singer Bing Crosby, and it's apparently where JFK hooked up with Marilyn Monroe. The celebrity home measures 700 square feet and features a master suite apparently named the "JFK and Marilyn Monroe suite," which measures 1,400 square feet alone.
Based on the pictures on the site, the house features a huge pool area in front of the house. On the side of the pool appears to be a lounge area, and the property is surrounded by lush mountains. The outdoor area features a pathway built into the grass; there are various trees as well. On the other side of the house looks to be a lounge area which could also serve as an al fresco dining place.
One of the bedrooms in the celebrity home features a carpeted floor, a small entertainment area, a fireplace and a huge closet. The living room offers huge cushions and a fireplace as well. A pool table, a bar and other luxurious amenities abound in the property.
Mail Online reports that the celebrity home also has a putting green, a spa and a movie theater. The singer apparently arrived at the property with his DNCE band mates via a helicopter.
According to TMZ, Jonas stayed with his crew in the Airbnb rental. The house is open to 18 guests during daytime, but only 12 people can spend the night there. Smoking is prohibited inside the home.
The Rancho Mirage mansion is said to be for sale for $5 million. It is known to be the "playgrounds of the presidents" as various former presidents and celebrities have stayed there. Joe Jonas has a net worth of $18 million.
