Former White Sox captain and first baseman Paul Konerko is selling his fabulous California home for $6.9 million. According to Realtor, the home has some flashy and nice finishing touches, and it also offers stunning views of the ocean.

Originally built in 2010, the 6,000-square-foot home has a total of four bedrooms and five bathrooms. The main level has an open floor plan, and it features hardwood flooring and a lot of large windows that allow natural light to come inside.

According to listing agent Tim Walsh, the Del Mar contemporary home has ocean views from every room. This served as the White Sox player's vacation home, while his main residence is located in Arizona.

Taking the stairs to the entry level, one will be greeted by a huge downstairs entertainment and recreation game room. It is complete with a wet bar and a 1,000-bottle wine cellar.

Listing details reveal that the entry level has two bedrooms and two bathrooms. There is also an additional room which can be converted into an additional bedroom or a workout room. The kitchen is equipped with modern appliances, and it also has large living and dining areas.

Outside, there is a large three-car garage which has an additional room for golf cart. Other exterior features include a tiered swimming pool and deck area that has a spa and fire pit.

Konerko is a six-time All-Star player, and he announced his retirement in 2014 after playing 18 years in the professional baseball league. Out of his 18 years in MLB, 16 of those were with the White Sox. In 2005, he helped lead the team to a World Series win which was last captured in 1917.
