Here's a look at a tiny apartment that has a gym and a home theater. According to Elle Décor, a 309-square-foot house in Hong Kong has more than enough amenities to keep its owners entertained.
The owners of the house hired Hong Kong-based architects LAAB to transform their small apartment into a home that has a large kitchen, bathtub, bedroom, living room, gym and a home theater. LAAB is known for their form follow time philosophy which means that a particular feature of the house will be available only when the homeowners need to use it.
The bathroom, for instance, can be arranged to just feature the toilet and sink, or it can also feature the bathtub. When the latter is not going to be used, it doesn't need to be made visible.
Meanwhile, the house also comes with an impressive range of technologies that make it possible for the homeowners to control the features of the home with just one click. Since they also have three cats, it was mandatory for the house to have an area that is conducive for the feline creatures, according to The New York Post.
Photos of the house have also been posted online, and at first glance it seems quite impossible how all of the amenities fit inside a very small space.
If you are thinking about buying home but don't have that much money to afford a huge one, no need to worry. The LAAB's design just proved to you that you don't need a very big space at all. What you need is a good designer who can take your vision very seriously and then actually translate it to equally impressive results.
Bear in mind that such a property also costs a relatively huge sum of money but definitely not as much compared to buying a bigger home.
